How do I rent?
Renting is easy! Here’s what you do: check out our price list and decide what works best for you. Then email rentals@camerashack.co.za to check availability. Be sure to let us know if you are a Canon or Nikon shooter and make sure you include the dates you need the gear for. Remember we only charge for 1 day over weekends. Most communication happens through email, and we will confirm your reservation before the day of collection. Please do not place your rental order online, as the product catalogue is only there for your viewing pleasure. For first time clients, please allow an additional 48 hours in order for us to process your application.
How do I buy?
Buying is super easy! View the items listed online, and add to cart once you have decided to purchase. Follow the instructions and complete your details. You will receive a confirmation email with EFT details to complete payment. If you wish to collect the item yourself, please email sales@camerashack.co.za to arrange. Viewings are done by appointment only.
Where are you based?
We are based in Pinelands Business Park, which is in Cape Town, South Africa. We do not however have a walk in store, but viewing of gear can be arranged by appointment.
What’s your operating hours?
Viewings and purchases are by appointment only. Rentals have fixed collection and return times though, Friday between 9AM and 14:00PM is for collection and the same times on Mondays are for returns. Rentals on any other days of the week are by appointment.
Can I become part of your Facebook group?
Oh, you’ve heard about our group? We have a very enthusiastic and helpful group of avid photographers, from amateur to professional, that’s over 7500 strong. When we have specials or just feel like spoiling them with awesome prices, they are privy to that and get preferential treatment. Why, because when you’re with us, you’re family. So you want in?
